I dont know how do you define fundamentalism . because it is not clear in your comment that you have responded.
One thing i dont understand whether you mix fundamentalism with the true believer of Islam . If not then it is my request to understand Islam and view it as an ideology. it is possible to rule over by Islam . Islam is a complete ideology emanated from creator not from any people who are limited in comprehend everything of the universe. Look at the past of Islam. Under the rule of Islam Muslim and non -Muslim led their life in a peaceful way , and there was a harmony of coexistence. So finally my request to you to view Islam as an Ideology or as a system which is capable to run a state or even the world. thank you.
