If you are a legitimate Muslim, you follow the Qu'ran. The Qu'ran states NUMEROUS times that Muslims must kill non-Muslims, take over non-Muslim towns and force them to convert to Islam and kill all who don't convert, and it also says one man is worth two women, etc. So, actually, no. You can't be a good neighbour and blah blah blah. You can only be a good neighbour if your neighbour is a male Muslim. Otherwise your holy book tells you to kill and punish those who aren't like you.
