It may look absurd

To Unbiased

Yes it may look absurd, but many things Muslims do look absurd too. The last thing a woman terrorist will do before blowing herself up and meeting Allah is to take her hijab off. A Muslim's body takes 40 days to purify from food contaminated with alcohol or pork. No terrorist will dare to consume something like that seconds before meeting Allah. A fatwa by a number of high level clerics is required to allow such preach of Islamic protocols. That fatwa does not exist yet.

The point is such a ban may reduce the number of Islamists( not necessarily terrorists) on airline, reducing the number of headaches on the security services who do the scanning.

Further more I can tell you I have no doubt at all that if the West treats Muslims exactly like Muslims ( eg Saudi Arabia) treat them, and ban Islamic education, insist on music and sex education, ban headsacarves because they are icons of political Islam.. and the rest of it, the West will be left with no fundamentalists at all. Only openminded Muslims will remain. The Arabs say if the wind is blowing through one window, shut the window. The West will not shut the window but goes to tidy the room- forever!
