Reader comment on item: Time to Profile Airline Passengers?

While I would defend racial/religious profiling to the strictest possible extent, how much good will any type of profiling do when a full 85% of the cargo transported on aircraft is still not checked? It's only a matter of time until the next terror attack occurs.
