What are you trying to say, Festine? "Yes, there were atrocities along the way, but Pol Pot never flew planes into the World Trade Center"? You're passing the atrocities off just like that? The My Lai massacre? The resettlement villages for South Vietnamese peasants? Are you trying to say that 9/11, which killed about 3000 people, is worse than "the killing fields" of Cambodia, where more than one million people died? Are you trying to say that only US deaths matter to you?

Well, I'm not surprised. You just confirmed that Americans are unable to feel concern for anyone but themselves. Or it could be more of the usual "the ends justify the means" logic that rightists usually employ.
