it's the hypocrisy, stupid

Reader comment on item: [William Blum and] Al-Qaeda's Leftist Brigade
in response to reader comment: Kudos to bin Laden, curses to American leftists

"all those leftists, lost without the murderer to Stalin to worship"

All those rightists, lost without the murderers Reagan and Nixon and the conspiracy theorist McCarthy to worship.
All those rightists, lost without Pol Pot and apartheid South Africa to support.
All those rightists, lost without the Soviet Union to justify their exorbitant military spending
But they still have the god called money, aka mammon, to worship, after all.

"the coming danger of the a (sic) jihadist takeover of the American people. and the entire Western world"
Ah, another one of those Western conservatives. Ah, the West's love affair with itself. With all due respect, I believe that Western conservatism is a far greater threat to us non-Western primitives.

"And if he so adores hands and heads being chopped of for minor infractions..."
You are wrong. Where did you get it into your head that Blum admires those things?. You are just searching, not too well I must say, for more things to say. In fact, the Afghan Northern Alliance, allies of the US, committed such barbaric atrocities in Afghanistan that most Afghans actually welcomed the rise of the Taliban to power.

"Why is it that smart Jews are so able to care so much for everybody but themselves?"
Being a conservative, you are of course unable to understand why some people would care about others. After all, in America's individualistic capitalist system, people must only care about themselves. You also said that in some circles (conservative circles, of course) that's considered a major pathology. Actually, I have not heard of any such mental disorder. On the other hand, I know of one mental disorder characterized by only being able to care for oneself: Psychopathy.
Also, through your attitude, you just confirmed what I already knew: That all the US overseas interventions were not done for them, but for the US's own interests.
