in response to reader comment: Muslim terrorists in Pakistan

dear mr ahmed,

comparing muslim terrorists in south asia(esp. pak) to hindu violence aganst muslims in india cannot even be considered as a good enough argument. the reason?

the muslim terrorists just follow their scriptures which are filled with hatred towards other religions unlike any religion on earth.
if muslims were rioted against in gujrat(india) in 2002, it can be considered as the act of a set of extremist minded people. it cant in any way be related or linked to hinduism as a whole. christanity, hinduism, judaism etc are religions which do not preach terror/hatred for other religions. if the followers of these religions commit atrocities, they can be tried under the law and punished and that would be about it.

on the other hand, muslims are guided by their scriptures to wage war against "kafirs" to set up muslim rule on earth. in such a scenario, it is not possible for anyone to feel at ease even after the perpetrators of the act are punished because there is always a steady stream of jihadis who are hell bent on creating a muslim "ummah" on planet earth by slitting the throats of non-muslims or "kafirs" as the quran describes them.

And finally, your statement that hindus dont have a leg to stand on against muslims on the terorism debate due to the violence in gujarat against muslims in 2002 is inherently flawed as the muslims were the ones who burnt the train killing 60 hindus which started the riot.

besides that, ISLAMIC conquests in india right from 1200 AD or even before that has systematically been destroying hindu temples and close to 90 million hindus have died in the process. so lets not even get started on who is to be blamed here!
