Increased Islamic attacks

Reader comment on item: No American Muslim Terrorists? [A Reply to Spencer Ackerman]

Submitted by Stas (Ukraine), May 31, 2012 at 18:47

Since the time of this writing there have unfortunately been many Islamic terror attacks that have further solidified the points made here. In 2006 alone, a banner year, the US experienced a multitude of attacks on innocent citizens and there is a constant threat that the next attack could be ever more deadly and destructive. It is very difficult to live in an atmosphere of imminent terror, not to mention the tremendous expenditures of funds on security and detection. It is possibly the most successful aspect of Islamic terrorists, if that is their strategy, that they have such a deep impact on budgets and funds.
