Sesame Street Fundraising for 'Palestine'

Reader comment on item: Pretending There's a Country Called "Palestine"

Submitted by Genivaldo Da Costa Neves (United States), Dec 29, 2005 at 20:03

Dear Mr. Pipes,

Thanks a 100 times for your feedback.

By the way I was just watching " Sesame Street" with my 15 months old baby, on demand, when all of the sudden, they do not give you any more the power of forwarding the commercial propaganda and when I watched the introduction of this program, they were asking for $$$ to fundraise their activities.

When plotting in their Web Site, already feeling the smell of why they need $$$, then I was astonished when seeing that they fund a Sesame Street in "Palestine", to show that there are no differences in between the 2 people in there.

Till now I cannot believe...Excuse-me, "Palestine"? When this country was declared as existent? Perhaps I was abducted by an alien and they dropped me in a different earth, without my knowledge.

Check it out and 1000 "sorry" for disturbing you, for what to me, you are the king.

We love you immensely. We praise and love you, simple as it is.

Thank you for the compliment and the lead; I have listed Sesame Workshop's "Palestine" page in this entry.
