Reader comment on item: Pretending There's a Country Called "Palestine"

Submitted by Ynnatchkah (United States), Apr 5, 2008 at 03:36

For a long time, Palestine did not have its own country-code Top-Level-Domain (ccTLD). However, and after three years of hard work with IANA, International Standards Organization (ISO) and the UN Offices in New York, Palestine was able to obtain its own ccTLD, namely, "PS". This was done through the sincere and relentless efforts of many governmental institutions, individuals and Palestinian experts inside and outside Palestine who were involved in the issue.
