Hamas concerned about the relations between Turkey and Israel

Yoni, Ben-Menachem, 11/07/2022

Hamas is trying to damage the good relations between the Israeli Mossad and the Turkish intelligence through a fabricated investigation at the Al-Jazeera Channel...

An attempt to discredit the activity of the institution in Turkey

At Hamas they understand that the Israeli Mossad has excellent intelligence capabilities and that it also provided the Turkish intelligence evidence that Hamas extension is engaged in terrorism and also in undermining the Palestinian Authority.

Therefore, Hamas leadership is now trying to bring a wedge between the Israeli institution and the Turkish intelligence. Al-Jazeera Channel, one of Hamas' shofar the transmitter from Qatar, which broadcast on July 1, "a long" investigation called "Institution of Mossad In Istanbul". In the "investigation," which was actually a propaganda for the Hamas movement, were presented documents, recordings and testimonies of people, which al-Jazeera claims were the goals of the Mossad on the soil of Turkey. These people reported the Turkish authorities on the institution's activity.

In October 2020, the Turkish Intelligence arrested 15 (supposedly) working for the 'Mossad," most suspects were students sent to study in Turkey, the Mossad, according to the Turks, focused on recruitment activities of the Arab communities living in Turkey and the connection with them was mainly through social networks and it tried to get information about Hamas operatives in Turkey.
However, according to security sources in Jerusalem, the one who was active in recruiting this network was actually General Majid Pereg, head of Palestinian intelligence.
The Turkish intelligence also confiscated a large amount of money in Istanbul, which reached the Palestinian intelligence apparatus to finance the activity of the Palestinian students raised by him.

President Erdogan raged about Majed Farj's activity in Turkey and reprimanded PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas. But ar the time, it was very convenient for the President Erdogan to attack Israel and the Turkish media would be prepared that these were the agents of the Israeli institution although none of the industries and detainees were not one Israeli.

Turkish intelligence understands the rules of the game well, the spirit now blowing from President Erdogan's office is to tighten relations with the Israeli Mossad and thwart any Iranian terrorist activity on Turkish soil that could jeopardize Turkey's political and economic interests.

Informed sources say that Hamas' attempt to tarnish relations between the Israeli Mossad and Turkish intelligence through fabricated "investigations" on the al-Jazeera propaganda channel is pathetic, Turkish intelligence knows the truth and this experience indicates great frustration in the Hamas leadership due to the close relationship between Israel and Turkey.
