DNM: Thanks for the clarification and for the site reference.
As is readily demonstrated, the intent is one of lack of respect for the person (or persons) with whom one has some form of disassociation, or in the worst case scenario, unrestrained hatred culled from the deepest roots of a deviant heart. It is common in humanity, going back to the very first murder. Its malicious behavioral characterisitc is called murder that starts within a person's fallen psyche as is described by the Biblical witness of the Savior of the world who judges such thoughts and actions by requiring consequences.
Whether manifested as a characteristic of human behavior or as a prescribed action promoted in Quranic directives for reasons of religious intolerance, hitting, beating, strking for the sake of animosity in the human heart is a verification that humanity cannot be trusted to live peaceably when such actions are tolerated within a moral societal setting.
