This is just an addendum:

The Syriac/Aramaic word ܙܡܳܪܬܳܐ Zmarata (compare with Hebrew Zamar) means song/singing

PS: Can anyone who speaks Darija (Moroccan Arabic) to explain the meaning of the word زبّوج. Does it mean olive tree? And is it an Amazigh word?
