What is the Logic of Debating Truth - How is Life and Death Issues Not Serious Conversation?

Does a conversation about the life and death consequences of those left to face an Islamist onslaught under the auspices of believing in in a Christian Sovereign Entity versus a Muslim Theology that is sworn to kill such believers (as they are doing as this is being written in Afghanistan) not require a defense from a supernatural perspective; and yet here we are. What is the logic of that?
By the way, this is merely a rhetorical question; the evidence is overwhelming that the world has already fallen prey to the rejection of supernatural influences and Christians are under attack (to the point of death, even in the UK) for that cause.
It is the basic reason this observer has long since realized that modern debate does not recognize truth, only the arguments of those who have rejected it.
