Polemics of a Scattered Politcal Landscape

Reader comment on item: Can the Koran Solve Israel's Political Impasse?
in response to reader comment: The problem is not RZP or Islamists. The problem is Netanyahu.

From an improbable American perspective (look at how skewed America politics are too-similar antipathies), Netanyahu is a survivor where President Trump was not. Where is the comparison, one might ask?
No answer yet. For even as the potential of a Netanyahu dismissal might be thought of, there is no guarantee that the replacement will solve any of the factional issues besetting Israel since there is no common description of what a democratic government should look like, JUST LIKE AMERICA!
America is in a post-Constitutional dilemma; some do not want it; and others do not know how to get it back. Until that is sorted out, American style democracy is no model to follow.
But Israel's dilemma is nothing like America's; the change there that is coming is much more dramatic; and if Netanyahu cannot survive, then a more dire situation for Israel is certain. The problem was representational in Netanyahu; but he made only one mistake. Figure that out and then form the government.
