Someone didn't ace historyReader comment on item: "Republican Mob" Was Once an Oxymoron, Now It's a Reality Submitted by Jeff (United States), Jan 25, 2021 at 17:20 That anti-Black reaction in the 1960's was mainly from democrats like George Wallace and Robert Byrd. Byrd, William Fulbright, Sam Ervin, all democratic leaders and none of them conservative, fought tooth and nail against the Civil Rights Act. President Obama was against gay marriage until 2012, when coincidentally polls indicated a majority of Americans favored its legalization. A President of which party signed the Defense of Marriage Act? Saying boys don't belong in girls sports or girls locker rooms is not anti-trans. And history is not as simple or one dimensional as you think. Neither are people.
