Still, Jesus commanded, after his resurrection from the dead (yes, he truly died on the cross, giving his life as a ransom for many [Mk. 10:45; 1 Pt. 2:24; Is. 53), he clearly told the apostles to make disciples of all nations (Mt.28:19). Further, what John, writing at the risen and glorified Jesus' direction, said about a "great multitude of all nations, peoples, and tongues" in Rev. 7:9ff. clearly seems to embrace salvation for a large number of non-Israelites as well.
