Dear Dr Pipes,

your reader Iftikhar Ahmad reminded us again that Islam was the fastest growing religion and also the best and most peaceful. Amazing. And congratulations to all Muslims.

Now that the race has been won can the Muslims switch from 3+ children per couple policy to 1 child per couple. You see, in the rush to achieve the fastest growth rate many of us forgot that our planet is crumbling under the weight of humans (just see the slums of Mumbai and Karachi). It is vital that we leave as much for each of our children as possible. So bringing the birthrate down is vital. We know that Allah provides for all but let us do our bit to help Allah.
