Yes, many Muslims do lead peaceful lives.

However this is due to them not being very "Good Muslims". The majority of Muslims do not have a clue what is really in the Qu'ran.

If Muslims knew what the Qu'ran and the Hadiths actually said, and followed these tenets, then what you say would not be correct.

It is only ignorance of Muslims in general and, the grabbled and incoherent forms of islamic doctrine, that keeps most Muslims peaceful.

If Muslims had the literacy rates of the West, and the Qu'ran not be untranslatable gibberish, then we would either have a hell of a lot less Muslims, or a hell of a lot more people victims of Muslims.

Every time I see a Muslim or Muslim apologist in the media saying, that we need greater understanding of Islam when a Muslim atrocity is committed, if they were genuine, they would be saying the Muslim committing that atrocity needs to better understand Islam.

The fact is, that the Muslims who commit these Muslim atrocities, that understand Islam very well, and acting on what Islam actually promotes.

So either Islam needs a fundamental reform of its core values, or hope the majority of Muslims continue to be ignorant, illiterate and subjugated by the Muslims who exploit Islam for their own benefit.
