Reza Aslan is not a historian as he claimed

Reader comment on item: Islamism's Likely Doom
in response to reader comment: Aslan's book is tame and inconsequential

Hi Ralph

I care less about what Reza Aslan says in his book as I do believe that all religions are man made constructs and there is history behind their holy books and the lives of their founders and this is the job of the historian

Now the real issue with Reza is that he claimed that he is a historian of religions which he is not. This means that he is a liar
