Reader comment on item: Obama's Iran Deal Has the Makings of a Catastrophe

My prediction on the rhetorical question at the end is — of course not.

You may just recall recent Trade agreement voting and arms twisting story.

Socialism and fascism (i.e. crony capitalism) won in this country, although, I think it is still reversible.

It won in France and Russia permanently.

It is a real shame that deep in 21th century we still have those arrogant "senators and representatives". I believe everybody in this country has a smart phone or a laptop (PC).

Why not let everyone vote on some important if not all proposals?

One can look at Switzerland where they do similar things by voting in person, yet.

As to alleged security question, do you use online banking? Why do you trust that then?

Until a ruling class is eliminated, economical and social things will be going down. Two terms limit for every elected officials including all judges is the key to solve it. Remember Alexis de Tocqueville: http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/authors/a/alexis_de_tocqueville.html

As to Israel, they will overcome that trouble. It is an existential issue for them. Persian mullahs will not be slightly disappointed but dropped dead. On his second thought, Allah will definitely help in doing that ~;)
