Iran does not want war....

Reader comment on item: Today's Iran Debate Misses the Point

Submitted by Steve Wiseman (Canada), Apr 9, 2015 at 10:55

Do you actually think the leaders of Iran are so stupid, demented and filled with a self destructive hate that that they would actually initiate an atomic bomb war with Israel?

Preposterous. Israel has at least 200, maybe as many as 500 atomic bombs , many of them at least ten times as powerful as the two the US so cruelly dropped on Japan in the middle of their surrender negotiations in 1945.

Such a war would completely destroy Iran....killing almost every person now living in Iran and probably millions in the surrounding territories. The Iranians , moreover, have never threatened Israel...never, despite all the garbage said to the contrary. What they did say was that Israel, like all evil countries such as the USSR, will eventually destroy itself from within. And this can be seen right now in the emigration of the Israelis to Europe and the world. There is no need for Iran to do anything to promote the demise of Israel.

Moreover the Israelis are preparing themselves for a sneak attack war on Iran....However they would probably lose a couple of hundred thousand Israels in such a war as long as Iran doesn't have bomb. A price the Zionists were quite willing to sacrifice in the past for the creation of Israel when they cooperated with the Nazis in driving the Jews out of Europe.

The Iran bomb scare is just an excuse for the US to destroy Iran just as it has destroyed so many other countries in the last fifty years or more. And Israel is going along with this cruel joke with the hope of stealing more land in the Middle East to complete its dream of a greater Israel from the Nile to the Euphrates.
