The United States and Its Request for "Restraint"

Reader comment on item: Surprising Support for Israel, not Hamas
in response to reader comment: Do you want to know what terror is?

The United States' call for "restraint" on Israel's part is of course pure American hypocrisy. When did the U.S. ever use restraint? The U.S. doesn't know the meaning of the word. YJ Draiman, thank you for your beautiful illustrations of the American version of restraint. There are hundreds more.

By the way, a correction is needed in YJ Draiman's comment. One thousand missiles raining down on Israel, proportionately would be, uh, at least 50,000 on the U.S. if you want to know the true impact on the U.S. if it were in Israel's position.

I'd like to hear the average American's response to a demand for restraint on that situation.
