Reminiscent of Clinton resurrecting Arafat

This is reminiscent of Clinton reaching out to Arafat when Israel had finally beaten him down and he was languishing in Tunis. Clinton's pressure brought him triumphantly to Gaza/WB and resurrected the PLO. That changed everything http://articles.latimes.com/1994-07-02/news/mn-10966_1_west-bank

Obama is comparing himself to Clinton and the second term 'push'. The difference is: Obama has no political capital, there is no uniform spokesman among the Palestinians, and Netanyahu is not Rabin who will reluctantly shake hands,
