Dear Dr Pipe, When Islamic world learns to respect the will of the people, we all will be happier. So at any given time, the West and all free people support whatever people in ME want. Let us put two and two together. Last year Egyptian people got rid of Mubarak in favor of MB. This year (according to your own blog) Morsi needs US tear gas shells to defend state buildings from protesters. I honestly wish lasting peace in Islamic countries but the fact that Morsi needs to import tear gas shells, indicates that someone in Egypt is unhappy and working against Morsi. Fundamentalism cannot ever solve a country's problem. So factions like MB win in the short run, they will very quickly run into trouble with the people whose problems that fail to solve. So freedom loving people need to support the opponents of Assad. Even if they are worse than Assad, they need to fail on their own turf. If they fail at our hands, we will be blamed. So they need to fail at their own hands. So it might be a bitter pill but it needs to be taken.
