Whenever I read something along the lines of what you wrote, I immediately know you're wrong because there are so many examples of moderate Muslims: anti-Islamist Turks, anti-Brotherhood Muslim Egyptians, the pro-American Iraqi Kurds, the King of Morocco and many of his subjects, the Tunisian secular moderates, many Indonesians, the Albanians who saved Jews during the Holocaust, the pro-American Kosovars with their Bill Clinton statue, the majority of Iranian youth, the south asian Muslims who fought with the British in WWII, King Abdullah of Jordan, the Sunni merchant class of Syria and Lebanon, and the entire country of Azerbaijan.
