God Bless You Oriana!!!!

Reader comment on item: Appreciating Oriana Fallaci

Submitted by Michael Howell (United States), Feb 22, 2012 at 18:19

Oriana and I met at astronaut Charles Conrad Jr.'s home in Timber Cove, Seabrook, Texas in the early 1970's. She was there doing research on " If the Sun Dies " about the manned spacecraft program. She gave me a great big gigantic smile and said to me after we had spoken " You know, I like you. " I was only 14 at the time and she made me so special. I do hope that she has found the Lord and God. I know our friend " Pete " Conrad is still entertaining her and I can hear them laughing, watching me write this tribute note. May god bless you both, we miss you both very much!

Love as always,

Michael Glen Howell (a future American President)
