Republican Jews of New Jersey Voting for Christie A Second Time Around?

Reader comment on item: Why Chris Christie Will Never Be President of the United States
in response to reader comment: Voting For Christie

Submitted by Renee Bouvier (United States), Sep 9, 2011 at 19:11

If the members of the New Jersey chapter of the Republican Jewish Coalition and its National Women's Committee of The Republican Jewish Coalition vote Chris Christie into a second term as governor, Dr. Pipes failed to do his job as a protector from the ravages of virulent forms of Islamic fundamentalism. The Jews of New Jersey, especially supporters of Israel, should be very concerned. Note that Chris Christie has never ever spoken toward the concerns of the Jewish community in the state of New Jersey. Coincidence? Nothing in life is a coincidence, especially in American politics.

Daniel Pipes replies:

Christie may well be re-elected governor of New Jersey. My article only predicts he will not be achieve higher office.
