Reader comment on item: Islamist Apparel Banned in France
in response to reader comment: Islamist Apparel Banned in France, Talk about Oppression.

Submitted by Jan (United Kingdom), Apr 14, 2011 at 16:16

The irony is that France has passed law to punish the oppressed. If an oppressed muslim women cover her face then she will be punished by fine or jail sentence. How beautiful the secular judeochristian justice. If she decide to be oppressed then she will be thrown out of school and universites.

Some people are opposed to head scarves, not veil as it is considered as political expression, not as sign of piety. Polical expression in western world is allowed only for men. If any women express themselves politically they should be denied entry to school and expelled from universities. They should be condemned to confine their lives in kitchen. Halleluja.
