Reader comment on item: Why Did American Airlines 587 Crash?

The TLC TV documentary ("Flight 587: Anatomy of a Disaster") basically said the following: AA pilots didn't know how to use the rudder (were improperly trained) thereby putting undue stress on it and making the tail rip off.
