Reader comment on item: [The Khadrs:] Canada's First Family of Terrorism

Submitted by Dennis Bolen (Canada), Oct 31, 2010 at 09:57

We as a nation have to stop allowing these low lifes, like the khadr family, from using our Canadian citizenship because its convenient . You leave what ever garbage country you crawl out of because you want to make a better life for you and your loved ones I applaud you. But this benefit comes with a price tag. If your not willing to work, pay taxes, obey our laws, not use and abuse our generosity ,to decry our customs, to constantly demand that we change to accomadate you, then I ,like millions of other true Canadians, have absolutely no use for you.

I always hear we are all immigrants. I say bull. My family came here before Canada was even a country. They didn't come here with their hands held out demanding all their every needs be taken care of. They came here to make a better life for their family's. If it meant that they had to sacrifice and do without for themselves, so be it.

If you come here to MY COUNTRY, you had better be willing to die for your new found homeland, to contribute to the good of all of us. If not , we as a Nation should reserve to right to revoke this title, Canadian Citizen, and send you crawling back to whatever sesspool you crawled out of.
