it is a nice gesture by President Obama for peace, however there are better ways muslims and the West getting together.

It is good that the President wishes for more connections with the muslim world.

Sadly the muslim world does not really wish to be space explorers or scientists, or free thinkers.

The muslim world is so backward and ignorant it is frightening.

If the muslim world did not have oil money and the West was not around to invent things, well the muslim world would look like the 18 th. century.

Perhaps a different plan that would involve muslims getting together with the West would be better.

Please note, no matter how much we educate some muslims, there will never be peace with them.

The muslims' holy book the quran, expressly prohibits being friends with non-muslims and the koran teaches that all good muslims must make everyone else bow to islam or face death.

So there will be no peace with the people called the muslims until they stop being islamic.
