A question to Dear Dr. Pipes

Reader comment on item: Western Civilization on Trial: Why We Should Be Watching Geert Wilders

Submitted by Debanjan Banerjee (India), Feb 14, 2010 at 12:10

Dr. Pipes,

As a reader who has interest in Islamic affairs I have a lot of interest in your writings. But some of your stands does confuse me. If you are so strongly supportive of someone like Geert Wilders then why was you protesting so harshly against someone like Tariq Ramadan visiting US ?

Kindly tell me is this not a double standard on your part ?

Daniel Pipes replies:

I don't want more enemies of the United States in the United States. We have enough of them already, thank you, without Tariq Ramadan.
