Reader comment on item: Security Theater Now Playing at Your Airport

Submitted by Nelson D'Silva (India), Jan 6, 2010 at 09:53

It is most annoying when security agencies act amateurish by putting in force checks and security measures reactively. It is time western countries and the non-Islamic world appreciated the fact that life is precious and implemented whatever it takes to ensure safety of the travelling public regardless whatever certain communities may say about racial profiling. If they are in the majority, then let them curb their own brethren rather than try to restrict security measures that may have to be implemented for safety sake. It is better to be safe than sorry because of political correctness.
