Reader comment on item: Israel and Clear Victory
in response to reader comment: clear victory is not on Israel's agenda

Submitted by Nair (United Kingdom), Dec 30, 2008 at 07:56

A grand alliance of forces opposed to Islamist hegemony of this world is the need of the hour. And if anybody only Israel can give leadership to this grand alliance. Other countries fighting Islamists have theire own limitations.

Most of these countries are democratic and the political parties are all dependent on the minority Muslim votes. So they can not antogonise the Muslims who claim they are peace loving all the time. They keep telling that Islam is a peaceful religion and that the perpetrators are not Muslims every time a Bomb goes burst. But the irony is every Bomber is inspired by the teachings of Koran and hails Alla hu Akbar before detonating.

It just took the London bomber 6 months to become a hard core terrorist - yes he got converted to Islam just 6 months prior to London Bombings. Still we are informed that Islam teaches peace.

All the best to Israel in its current efforts.
