Reader comment on item: Hezbollah's Victory, Israel's Decline

I've always thought Israel made these completely disproportionate swaps to underscore the relative value (their perception) of one Israeli life (or remains of same) versus that of their enemies. While this may have some ideological currency for Israelis, it appears to be lost on the Arabs. But in today's active terrorist climate, it doesn't make sense to put them back on the street. / SM
