Who owns Islam? The obvious answer is ,"The Muslims" but deeper inquiry suggests otherwise. Muslims are the visible practioners, but mostly uneducated, mostly illiterate, unable to compete in a modern society, they are full of sound and fury, but mean little. No, Islam is the step child of the Judeo/Christian ethos. Seen as a deformed, disfunctional, premature child, it could not survive without the life support system of the Western , Judeo/Christian world. A concerted effort of the Western world would render Islam a moot and ineffective shell, yet it does not happen. The world elites, Academics, politicians, media, capitalists all have an interest in the sustaining of Islam. An obviously dying belief system is nevertheless a powerful method of controlling the masses. With the success of the Americans in Iraq, Islam's mystique as a unified, and undefeatable ideological / religious belief system will be usurped. From Iraq, the US can control the entire Middle east. China,Russia, North Korea, etc must deal with the US because we' re there. This is why Bush will be one of our great presidents. Because of him, the US takes one more step toward Novis Ordo Seclorum, it's why we elect Presidents, to carry forth the mandate of the United States of America. This President has paid the price, and history will show him to be not just a good persident, but a great president.
