Dear Prof Pipes,

This is an example of 'as you sow so you reap'. Pakistan was created by the violence unleashed by the then All India Muslim League in mid-1940s killing unprecedented numbers of Hindus and Sikhs. In the counter-violence, significantly less number of Muslims were also killed.

In the present case, Muslims are killing Muslims for political reasons but not for raising human values. Does Quran teach this?

Pervez Musharraf has been riding a tiger ever since he seized power in October 1999 but does not know how to get down or will he go the Zia-ul-Haq way?

It is time that Muslims should behave in a more humane manner and this can only be done by moderate Muslims.Will they take the challenge?
