RE: Answer to EuropeanReader comment on item: MPAC, CAIR, and Praising Osama bin Laden Submitted by Donald C., DONG CHEE (United States), Jun 11, 2007 at 21:02 Okay " EUROPEAN," here is my best shot at why the U.S. is in Iraq. You know or should know the talking points---The USA is a member state of the UN, that world org. charged with enforcing it's own mandates which spring from nations world wide, right? Iraqi leader, Saddam refused 17-times to comply. He continued to fire on our aircraft enforcing the "NO fly zones in North and south Iraq---said no fly zones were put in place after Saddam attacked the northern Kurds And southern Shia's. Right? More importantly, the USA perhaps has a geopolitical plan you and I have no clue about. In any case, we are not alone. Many of the nations that make up NATO are in the region as well. They too may have a reason other than to create more terror---which is your seeming implication about the USA presence. While I may appreciate your honest but perhaps naive outlook, some people would simply hang up the phone on you. By the way, what is your answer to my question of why 'Radical Islaic terror knows no borders and they are invading nearly every nation?" Some say their quaran dictates that they conquer the world for allah! What say you European? D.
