Thank you Daniel Pipes for the brilliant insight into the big picture. However time is on the Islamists side… CAIR is eager to impress politicians of their numbers and a look at the birthrates of Muslims in any community will very likely show that they outbreed others. Muslims are born into families. Every Islamic scholar worth his salt will tell you that it is Islamic to put apostates to death. A study at the British towns taken over by the Muslim who does not want to integrate or assimilate, who demands separate "culture and traditional customs i.e. Islamic" laws on marriage and family, own language, own schools in other words their own Islamic towns. In a few decades, the huge Muslims populations in USA will be very attractive to politicians seeking their votes.
I thoroughly concur with Hari Iyer that Islam ideals are incompatible to the US Constitution. Against my politically correct and tolerant inclinations, after September 11 and devouring the massive the amount of information on Islam, I now believe that Islam cannot be rehabilitated to live peacefully with the west. The Muslims know that long ago.. their Koran and hadiths have divided the world into two. Darul al Salam - the abode/realm of peace where Islam is supreme and darul al dharb - the abode of war where clear instructions are given to wage a war against the non believers till they submit to their Allah.
As Daniel Pipes have pointed out they recognize power and out breeding the non Muslims in USA will give them the legitimate power and beat USA on her own terms.
