Nations who are blessed with leaders like Mr. Z A Bhutto are indeed very fortunate leaders like do not come about even in centuries. Pakistan was extremely fortunate to have had him but for the likes of Zia Ul Haq who murdered him. This was not just a criminal act of murder but an act of vandalism that caused immeasurable damage not just to Pakistan but to the entire muslim world.

For Pakistan in his five years of power he gave the country a constituition, nuclear capability that has ensured Pakistan's security against India, the Karachi steel mill, Port Qasim, Kamra aircraft factory, Taxilla heavy mechanical complex, Kanups in Karachi when he was the Fuel and Power minister, PIA received the contracts of setting up Air Malta and Libyan Arab airlines, land reforms particularly in Sindh and Punjab for the benefit of the common people, gas pipeline to Quetta, adoption of generic medicines to reduce the cost of medicines for the porrer people ( which incidently has been adopted in UK last year something he had thought of for Pakistan in 70s.

One could go and on endlessly. This was all for the benefit of Pakistan as a Union of all people who live in it not just Punjabis , Sindhis, Baluchis and Pathans but the entire country. Lets not talk in terms of provincial nationalities not only is this divisive but also damaging to ALL Pakistanis. Lets grow up and think in terms of a nation with all its diversities. Yes there should be fairness in the distribution of resources and development and one should ensure that they get there fair share but kets not call leaders od Mr. Bhutto's stature a ghaddar just because he refused to think in provincial terms. If he was alive today he would represent a major player in international politics.

If India was not divided in 1947 ( which would not have been good for the muslims now in Pakistan & Bangladesh) he would have dominated the Indian politics. He was indeed unfortunate to have been born in Pakistan and suffer the fate he suffered at the hands of murderer who butchered Palestinians in West Bank and true ghaddar.
