Reader comment on item: Zulfi Bhutto of Pakistan: His Life and Times
in response to reader comment: Memorable memoirs of Zulfi Bhutto

Z.A.Bhutto was a Great man. He was a Great Leader. He knew world politics as he was educated and was an eloquent and a brave speaker. What hurt him was his cronies around him who made him make some weird decisions as far as domestic policies are concerned. The military dictators took advantage of that and eventually cost him his life. He was a master of foreign policy. The west did not like what he was planning, i.e. unite the Islamic countries which would weaken them. Due to Z.A.Bhutto's efforts we are a Nuclear power today. I saw him from very close in Hyderabad in 1970. He will live in our hearts and minds until we die. SALAMS to a Great Leader of PAKISTAN.
