It is true Muslims lag in every aspect of modern life , not only in technology in fact in creative think as well. I would recommend every one to read Bernard Lewis' "What went wrong" . I think the problem with Muslim world is Medieval religion and cultural practices and since muslims think that they are morally superior to other people they are not willing to learn anything that can bring them to the era of enlightenment .

I mean what kind of modern society is going to tolerate laws like "Hudood Ordinance" , where a woman has to bring four male witnesses with good moral character to prove gang rape ? if she cant provide those witnesses ....take a wild guess ..some hints ..rape by police ,public execution or public stoning and other brutal and cruel medieval punishments . Did anybody ever mention that GNP of Spain is more than the combined GNP of 54 Islamic countries ? and they are talking about taking over United States ...this is the most foolish idea I have ever heard.
