Shulman (United States), Dec 28, 2006 at 21:33 On the other hand, if not so backward, wouldn't Muslims feel vindicated and entitled all the more to rule others, using force to do so? It would be safest if they decided their doctrine was too exclusive and imperialistic and if they could make progress civilly and fall backwards militarily.
