Response to commenter Mr. Giulio Battiston

Reader comment on item: To End the [Palestinian] Violence

Submitted by John Reinders (Canada), Jan 26, 2003 at 10:16

Just a quick comment!

I would like to ask Mr. Battiston to go back and read the history, starting about 120 or so years ago. I would also ask him to take a good look at Great Britain's role, its inability to live up to the promises it made to the Jewish people, and its responsibility for the whole situation we find ourselves in today.

Furthermore, Mr. Battiston should take another good look at the UN and its resolutions against Israel, its hands are not exactly clean here. I would also ask him to take a good long look at the geneology of the Arabs that currently occupy the so called land of Palestine, to see where they originated from and when, and to take a good look at the census done at the turn of the last century by the Turks, to see exactly how many so called Palestinians(Arabs) actually occupied the land at that time. Some of this history might suprise you.
