Israel and the Fight for DemocracyReader comment on item: To End the [Palestinian] Violence Submitted by Arlinda M. DeAngelis (United States), Jan 8, 2003 at 09:41 The United States must support Israel in fighting the Jihad inflicted upon its innocent citizens. The Israelis must win this war using any method it deems fit. Unconditional surrender by these self invented Palestinians supported by the pervasive corruption of the theocratic nations of Islam is the solution to this half century of war thrust upon the only liberal democratic nation in the Mid-East and our only trusted ally, Israel.Everytime we interfere in this horror by calling for "peaceful settlement by both sides" prevents the inevitable Israeli victory. Interference prolongs the war and allows these exiles from Jordan to prolong the terrorism. Palestinian terrorism is Jihad on democracy and the outcome must be final. As in the total victory we achieved in World War II, there were no peace negotiations. Unconditional surrender by the imperialist fascist forces of the Axis powers ended the destruction and devestation brought by the Germans, the Italians and the Japanese. Israel should be given any and all of the latest weapons, including weapons of mass destruction to end this eternal and destructive war. The triumph of democracy is crucial to the stabilizing the Mid-East. Israeli settlements anywhere and everywhere in territory they have won in a war Israel did not start is a victory for democracy. To paraphrase Jefferson, peace without democracy is to wish for what never was and never will be. The United States with Israel and Great Britain must win this battle now or the world, as we know it, will be sent back to the Sixth Century where we can enjoy imperialism, religious fanaticism, slavery, poverty, disease, ignorance and oppression, the hallmarks of Islamic civilization.
