If Muslims want the Western powers to withdraw from their domain, will they do likewise with the West? Will Muslims voluntarily give up the right to emigrate and impose their jihadism on the West? I don't think so!

On Friday a convert to Christianity was murdered in Somalia. The man was shot after refusing to join the crowd chanting verses of the Quran in honor of the lunar eclipse. The shooter would no doubt say his actions were justified by the Quran and by Islamic tenets. Would any Muslim jury convict him of murder?

Bernard Lewis wants to bring "freedom" to the Middle East. What does that mean? The freedom to practice Islam would seem to include actions such as murdering those who dishonor the faith. It includes destroying churches and synagogues. It does NOT include freedom for non-Muslim minorities.
