total population of Chrsitians in U.S.A. : 224,437,959

total population of followers of Judaism : 3,995,371

total population of followers of Islam : 1,558,068

total population of nonreligious/secular : 38,865,604

81% of Americans identify themselves with a specific religion. 0.5% are followers of Islam.
