Israel's determination to survive

Reader comment on item: [Michael Oren's] "Six Days of War"

Submitted by Stan Rose (United States), Jun 5, 2002 at 17:26

Never in modern history has there been such a differerence in motivation between two sides in a war. There was one that came close to Israel's staunch determination in 1967. That was the spirit of the American colonists who fought for freedom during the 0Revolutionary War. These similarities of spirit can defeat any enemy. It has, is happening now and will continue to happen. The spiritless will always lose.
