Many different tools needed to stop Islamofacism

Sidda, you're directly on target. Your ideas would go a long way in defanging the Islamofacist fruitcakes. The only place I have a slight disagreement is about force being a last resort. When you are attacked, you need to counter-attack, and we (the West) have been attacked. Using a hard-line civil/diplomatic approach, as you suggest, will work, but only if backed up by a demonstrated willingness to use force any time, any where, for even the slightest offence against us.

The Islamofacists, and those who shelter them, need to know that we don't care how much damage we cause when we decide to confront them. Finally, we need to be willing to strike pre-emptively, and to use political assassination to deal with specific individuals.
